T-FENSE 2002
T-FUND is proud to announce the follow-up to last year's successful T-Fense Benefit Project for the Robin Hood Foundation's 911 Relief Fund, with media coverage in Time Out New York, Paper Magazine, Sportswear International and WGSN, among others.
This year's international event includes limited-edition t-shirt designs by eighteen A-list streetwear designers, assembled by T-Fense curator Ben Ewy, including Adidas, X-Large, AemKei, Fresh Jive, Staple and 2K. The four-week exhibition will also feature one-of-a-kind pieces created by a select group of the world's hottest artists and designers assembled by each host gallery.
An Adidas track suit reconstructed by Spyne Designs Ashley Tyler, Stussy jeans hand-painted by German graffiti king and Lodown Magazine publisher Marok and a pair of Numark turntables transformed by video director-designer Jeremy Hollister are just a few of the unique items included in the
exhibition.
The T-shirt designs and the unique pieces, created exclusively for T-Fense II, are inspired by the theme of "world peace." ALL proceeds will benefit Seeds of Peace, one of America's most respected charitable organizations, recognized by the United Nations and all of the U.S. Presidents since its inception in 1993.
The opening receptions were helf simultaneously on December 7th at the five international locations mentioned above. The $35.00 T-shirts will be sold at each location and available for purchase through Karmaloop.com. The unique hand-customized pieces will also be available for purchase. |
